I am a 30 year old single female. I'm a fairly recent transplant from Oregon. South Dakota is very generous to military veterans as far as tuition costs, so as a Navy Veteran and future Nurse I moved here for the outdoor life, embracing something new and graduating with much less debt. I work for UPS in Rapid City. My shifts begin around 4am give or take. I am part of the sunrise crew that loads trucks and gets packages to where they need to be before the drivers take off each morning.
My current landlord/ roommate has had some unforeseen circumstances come up within his own family. Long story short, he has decided to give the entire house to his daughter and family in less than a month. This was news to me in the last fews days. So unfortunately I am now looking for a room to rent ASAP. As I mentioned, I currently live with a male so gender isn't much of an issue to me. I am absolutely not the type to throw a party at the home or anything like that. I do not play music loudly and generally try to be quite respectful of other people and my surroundings. I prefer a roomate(s) who is around my age or older as that would be more along the lines of my lifestyle. I currently pay $400/ month which covers rent and utilities. I could probably swing 450 in total on my end, especially if I'll be closer to work/ town than Summerset. 500 is definitely my cap... I fall into the working/ student/ not rich or sponsored by my parents category. Please email me if you have a room for rent and think we'd get along, if you have more questions, or would like to meet in person. Thanks and have a great day.
PS: I do have a Mainecoon mix cat. He's a grown boy. I rescued him from the Lead shelter. He's great. He's been described as my " dog/ cat" and "Garfield." He sleeps on my feet at night and is outside doing cat stuff during the day. Thats how he likes it and I've grown quite fond of our little routine. He's best friends with the household dog, Sadie. Winston is a very mellow dude and of course litter box trained while in the house.
